Theme:   "Lights in the World" — How to Share the Gospel with Others
As believers, we are called to be ambassadors for Christ. Our primary purpose here on this earth is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with the unsaved. For many Christians, this is something that does not come easy. Often, it is because they are afraid; afraid of how people will respond; afraid of being rejected; afraid of being mocked or persecuted. Most are afraid because they don't know HOW to share the gospel with other people; they don't know how to start a conversation about spiritual things; they don't know how to clearly present the gospel; they don't know how to handle objections to the gospel message or rejection of Christ. This weekend, we will give you some practical Biblical teaching on why it is so important that we share the gospel, and how to clearly present the gospel so that people may truly know how to be saved and brought into a relationship with God.
Activities will include a hayride, a campfire, hiking, indoor and outdoor games, a football game, board games, and, of course, the big night game. Horseback riding is no longer an activity at Three Mountain Retreat.
Bible, pencil, notebook, appropriate clothes including a warm jacket and gloves, twin sheets, blanket (or sleeping bag), pillow, towels, wash rags, toiletries, flashlight, and camera. Also, bring medical insurance information with you in case of emergency.
